DO NOT ARQUE WITH FOOLS

“Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.”  Matthew 7:6

“Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes. ”   Proverbs 26:4-5

Others question our faith and they spout out inquiries, yet they have no desire to hear the truth for they have already predetermined in their own mind the answers to their own questions. “Realize that you must not judge hypocritically, judgmentally, with a spirit of superiority, judge wisely and humbly. Recognize that you cannot respond to everyone the same way.  Some people ask questions, not because they are seeking answers, but because they hope to make fun of the religious person.  Jesus warns us not to give them ammo.  Jesus modeled this himself.  He chose carefully who He answered and how He answered them.  For instance, when brought before Herod at His trial, He gave no answer to Herod.  There were times when Jesus warned those He had healed not to tell because he knew it would be misused by His enemies or by those who were looking for a miracle worker and not the true Savior.”  Even though you offer pure water and portray the true light,  the accuser will take these valuables and just toss them to the ground. Understand that their heart is much too dark and is unable to see the truth, and arguing only elevates them.
